How to export and re-import the app's configuration on iOS ?

Since ImperiHome for iOS v1.5.0, the app supports exporting and importing the configuration; allowing you to backup it or to redeploy it on several phones or tablets without having to reconfigure from scratch.

One limitation however : the export/import config feature on ImperiHome iOS does not handle custom images yet, as ImperiHome Android does.

In this article, as an example, we will show how to use Google Drive to store the app's configuration :

Exporting configuration to Google Drive

First, ensure that you have installed the Google Drive app on your phone and setup your drive account properly.

1 - Go to app settings

2 - Select "export configuration"

3 - Click the export button

4 - Optionally set a password and click OK

5 - Wait for the 'share' popup and select Google Drive app

6 - Choose the directory in your gdrive and click the 'Upload' button

7 - Wait for the upload to complete. That's all !
